ROLLING WITH RESISTANCE with Diane Bynum, LPC, LADAC, ADC, CS. Workshop focuses on how counselors development of motivational interviewing techniques to acknowledge and validate a client's perspective without judging and help them identify the problem and solutions. Come learn how to use affirmations, summarizing, active listening and reflection among the many to promote a collaborative relationship with clients to achieve change.

ASAM Criteria - Megan Baird, LPC, MRC. Workshop will provide an overview of the American Society of Addiction Medicine's Dimensional Criteria for assessment and treatment planning. The overview will compare the ASAM Criteria 3rd edition to the ASAM Criteria 4th edition, Vol 1 and the changes to the dimensional criteria.
